The BBR Legal Fund begins! We need to raise moniesfor the lawsuit to force the City of Redondo Beach to comply with their own City Charter and enforce Measure DD.

A packed City Council meeting brought over 100 residents out... BBR retains Legal Counsel to send Comment Letter to City. The City moves forward on Harbor upzoning - CRITICAL COUNCIL MEETING - A MUST ATTEND FOR ALL BBR SUPPORTERS: Please come to City Hall, Tuesday, October 6th, 7:30 pm, in the Redondo Beach City Council Chambers - right next to the entrance to the main Library on PCH (415 Diamond St.)
Speak directly to the Council and tell them you want to vote on the new Harbor zoning that will alllow 400,000 sq.ft. of new development, including 3-story timeshares.
Or just be a face in the crowd. We need your support.

Measure EE's "Save Redondo" Campaign Financials are Out

Out of $84,000 spent by the opposition EE from April through Oct 6, 2008:

$50,000 was from California Association of Realtors
$13,000 was from MCL Marina Corp - the company that owns King Harbor
Marina and directly benefits from the recent rezoning of the harbor adding
over 400,000 additional square feet of development including timeshares.
$5,000 is from AES Corp. who fought for high density condo zoning in the Heart
of the City
$1,400 was from Redondo Council members, planning commissioners, school board members, the treasurer
Only $799 was from average residents

2007/2008 City Traffic Circulation Study shows 28% of intersections studied are at or over capacity during evening rush hour. These congested intersections are on every arterial route in Redondo.
